The house was built in 1906, and during the renovation, the designers retained striking period details such as arched Windows, stairs and intricate cornices. At the same time, by simplifying some outdated elements, such as the ground floor layout, the whole space is more concise and atmospheric.

Although the photos of the house look very tidy, Testoni insists that they are still a normal family that needs to take into account the practical problems of daily life, such as food spills and toys for the children. Therefore, some wear-resistant and easy-to-clean elements were added to the design, such as sisal carpet and dark gray, charcoal colored floors, making the entire space more practical and comfortable.
